The 'yes' Timeless $99 Internet Plan when you take the $14.99 Mobile Internet Pack Plan (the Plan) is only available for new or eligible existing customers who apply to connect to the Optus Mobile Digital service, and pass the Optus credit assessment and who are accepted by Optus. Existing customers must demonstrate that over the three continuous months prior to applying that they have an average monthly spend equal to at least the monthly access fee of the Plan. The 'yes' Timeless Internet Cap Plans are only available to you if use an eligible handset which remains connected on this plan. If your eligible handset is no longer used and connected on the Plan then Optus will transfer your service to an equivalent non Internet Cap rate plan.
Term: The Plan is only available as a package and is not available separately. Your total monthly access fee will be $113.99. The Plan is available on a month to month, 12 or 24 month plan.
If you have committed to the Plan with a 12 month term, the minimum total cost is $1367.88, plus the cost of your handset, if any. If you have committed to the Plan with a 24 month term, the minimum total cost is $2735.76, plus the cost of your handset, if any.
On the Plan you will pay the first $99 worth of National Voice Calls and Standard National SMS, after which these services are unlimited. You will pay a minimum amount of $99 per month even if you do not make $99 worth of calls. For the part month, you will pay only part of the minimum spend. You may not able to view your monthly usage prior to receiving your bill. Check with sales staff when you connect.
Unlimited value includes: on the Plan includes National Voice Calls and Standard National SMS. The unlimited offer only applies to standard personal calls and text only and is not to be used for commercial purposes. Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy applies. Excluded from your Unlimited Value: The Plan's unlimited value excludes 124 YES (937), Voicemail Deposits and Retrievals, International Voice and SMS, International Roaming and Diversion, 1800, 13 and 1300 numbers, calls to MobileSat, TrueLocal usage, Premium SMS, Optus Zoo Browsing, Optus Zoo Downloads, Content packs, Mobile Internet Usage, 966* Zoo, Directory Assistance, VOIP services and usage, Premium Video, Operator Assistance and 19XX services. The unlimited offer only applies to standard personal calls and text only and is not to be used for commercial purposes and excludes some call and message types including calls to national fixed or GSM mobile services that then divert/switch or re-route overseas. These calls or services may require a compatible handset. Normal charges apply for those calls and services that are not part of the included value.
Included in your Mobile Internet Data Value: The Plan also includes 1GB of data plus the 500MB of data included in the $14.99 Mobile Internet Plan to access services on Optus Zoo, as well as browsing the Internet from your compatible handset. If you exceed the Plan's included monthly data allowance, excess usage charges will be charged at $0.35 per MB or part thereof. Any unused data allowance cannot be rolled over. Excluded from your Mobile Internet Data Value: Your data allowance can not be used for Voice calls, Voice Mail, International SMS, premium and Third Party SMS, Optus Zoo and Third Party content purchases and subscription fees, 1300, 1900, VPN data usage and data used while roaming internationally. If you are able to access such services, your use of such services will be charged at prevailing rates. Data usage will be counted in kilobytes, where 1024kb = 1MB and includes both uploads and downloads.
Termination: If you choose to pay the cost of your handset by the monthly handset payment option or have chosen a 12 or 24 month plan and you cancel your Optus Mobile Service or it is disconnected for any reason, or you switch carriers within your minimum term ("Termination") you will be required to pay the remaining amount on your phone, if any, plus applicable "Termination Fees". The Termination Fee is calculated in accordance to the following: for months 1-12 of a 24 month term, 100% of the Initial Termination Fee which is $855, for months 13-15, 80% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 16-18, 60% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 19-21, 40% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 22-24, 20% of the Initial Termination Fee. For months 1-6 of a 12 month term, 100% of the Initial Termination Fee which is $515, for months 7-9 70% of the Initial Termination Fee, for months 10-12 40% of the Initial Termination Fee.
SMS & MMS: Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date regardless of successful delivery or not. National SMS are charged at 25c per message, International SMS are charged at 50c per message, National MMS are charged at 50c per message and International MMS are charged at 75c per message. International SMS: Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date regardless of successful delivery or not. International SMS are charged at 50c per message.
'yes' International Calling: 1. 'yes' International Calling is a special promotion which may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice, please check www.optus.com.au for offer expiry dates. 2. Optus reserve the right to withhold the promotions from any customer using in a manner deemed unreasonable or excessive by Optus. Optus Fair GoTM Policy currently considers 'excessive' to be usage more than 300 minutes per month per mobile on yes International Calls. Flagfall per call applies. 3. These offers do not include Satellite destinations. Airtime surcharges apply to calls from MobileSat, Inmarsat, Iridium and Thuraya. 4. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Optus 3G: Use of Optus 3G Service is only available with 3G compatible handsets and devices, an Optus 3G SIM card and you must be in a Optus 3G coverage area. References to Optus 3G network, compatible handsets or wireless broadband devices refer to 3G 2100 MHz network and devices. To access the 3G network you must be within the Optus 3G 2100MHz coverage area. Outside these areas, service will fall back to our Optus GSM/GPRS network. 3G handsets and devices will not provide you with access to 3G services in Optus 'yes'G service areas where a dual band (2100/900 MHz) handset is required. Optus 'yes' G service: Use of Optus 'yes' G Service is only available with compatible handsets and devices, an Optus 'yes' G SIM card and you must be in a Optus 'yes' G coverage area. The Optus 'yes' G Network refers to our 3G 2100/900 MHz network. To access the 'yes' G network you'll require a 'yes' G handset or device. Mobile Data and Optus Zoo: Optus Zoo activation time may take up to 24 hours. Optus will endeavour to provide current, accurate information but makes no guarantee regarding the timely delivery, currency, or accuracy of any information provided to you as part of the Optus Zoo Update service. Content may be suspended, changed, or terminated without notice. Wallpapers, ringtones, music and games supplied through the Optus Zoo portal may not be supported by your handset. Please check Optus Zoo for more details. Optus is not responsible for third party content, and sites may be subject to change. Additional charges may apply to access and subscription to third party content. Content is tailored for viewing using 3G or 'yes' G and may not include all content and features of Internet websites. The mobile data included in the Plan is supplied in accordance with the terms of the Standard Form of Agreement. You must comply with these terms including our Acceptable Use Policy and Mobile Fair GoTM Policy when using the service. The service provides a connection to the Internet via the Optus Mobile 3G or 'yes' G and GSM networks. The service is only available to customers within the Optus 3G or 'yes' G or GSM coverage area and is subject to network availability, refer to www.optus.com.au/coverage. You need to have 2.5G or 3G network compatible mobile phone which is provisioned with the required settings and SIM card to activate data use.
Call Diversions: Call diversions are charged at 5.5c per 30 seconds within Australia. Overseas, you will be charged at 5.5c per 30 seconds plus international call rates per 30 seconds.
Optus Fair GoTM Policy applies to: International calls and currently allows up to 50 minutes per month. Rate Plan Change: After the first 6 months of your contract, once a month you may change to another Optus Mobile Rate Plan with a lower monthly access fee at Optus' discretion for the remaining term of your contract. We may charge you a fee if you move from one pricing plan to another before the end of your minimum term. The amount of the fee will depend on various factors, including the terms of your current pricing plan, your call spend under your current pricing plan and the terms of the new pricing plan you are moving to. You should contact customer service for further information on the fee that may apply in your case. If you select a new rate plan option, any calls made from the date of the change, will be rated at the applicable rate of your new rate plan.and any mobile data used from the date of the change, will be rated at the applicable rate of your new rate plan.
Change of Ownership: is permitted during the 24 month contract providing the new applicant meets Optus credit assessment criteria and both the current and new owner agrees to the conditions on the Optus Change of Ownership form. Customers changing account ownership will not be eligible for Plan Scan.
Paper invoice Fee: Online billing will be phased in over time and may not be available to you immediately. If we have advised you that online billing is available to you and you still choose to have a paper bill posted to you, you will be charged a paper invoice fee of $2.20. If online billing is not available to you, we won't charge you the fee. Optus will advise you of the availability of online billing before any fee is charged. For further information please see www.optus.com.au/aboutmyaccount. Credit Card Fee: If you use a credit, charge or debit card to pay your bill, a 1% fee (inc. GST) will be charged. This payment processing fee will be shown on your Optus bill after the payment has been processed. Exemptions may apply.
Single Bill: Optus may place your service on a single bill with one or more other services that you have with Optus. At point of sale you may choose to have all services billed individually. If you choose a single bill, afterwards it may not be possible to obtain individual bills for your services.
True Local: Only available on XHTML supported handsets. Data charges will apply to access the service. Content is tailored for viewing on using 3G and may not include all content and features of Internet websites. When using True Local your location is automatically accessed to allow provision of correct service information while you are using the service. Should you click on a banner advertisement, a response will be sent to you on an opt-in basis.
Prices quoted are GST inclusive, on your Tax Invoice call charges will be calculated excluding GST. GST will be calculated on the total amount of taxable supplies during the billing period and shown as a separate entry. Optus reserves the right to change prices including call rates and monthly access fees at any time.
